Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide. From there, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you’ll have the opportunity to settle in and relax.

Later, you’ll be briefed on the exciting safari adventure that lies ahead. Your guide will provide you with all the necessary information about the itinerary, safety guidelines, and what to expect during your safari experience.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Embark on an afternoon seat-in-vehicle safari departing from Arusha at 14:00. As you journey through the Masai Steppe, you’ll encounter picturesque African villages nestled amidst lush maize, coffee, and banana plantations. Upon reaching the town of Makuyuni, turn Northwest and traverse a scenic escarpment that leads you to Manyara Safari Lodge.

Marvel at the stunning escarpment before turning south onto the main Arusha – Dodoma road, leading you into Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is renowned for its rich wildlife diversity, including large populations of elephants, lions, and leopards. Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be dropped off at the city center, where you can make onward arrangements for your journey. Whether you’re continuing your travels or preparing to depart, Arusha serves as a convenient hub for further exploration or your journey home.
