Day 2

Day 2 Arusha to Manyara National Park

After a relaxed breakfast you will enjoy a panoramic morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park, home of the tree climbing lions and flamingos, not to mentioned the largest baboon troop ever recorded. The park stretches along the base of the 600 metre high Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. Incredibly, the other third of the park homes a variety of animals, which are supported by open savannah grassland with rocky outcrops, marshes and acacia woodland. The  wildlife in this park is incredibly diverse and a wonderful way to commence your safari. Enjoy an afternoon of game viewing in the park.
