Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Your East African safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya’s rugged northern frontier. En route, enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Trout Tree Restaurant, known for its fresh cuisine and unique treetop dining experience.
Arriving at Samburu, you’ll begin on your first game drive through the arid landscapes, where doum palms and the Ewaso Nyiro River create a striking contrast to the dry surroundings.
