Arrive Arusha

Experience a warm welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival, our dedicated SafariHQ guide will personally meet you and ensure a smooth transfer to your accommodation for an overnight stay. Depending on the time of your arrival, you have the flexibility to unwind at the hotel or, for the more adventurous spirit, explore the vibrant city of Arusha.

Take advantage of your time in Arusha to immerse yourself in the local culture. The bustling city offers a myriad of possibilities, from leisurely exploration to more active pursuits. Those with an adventurous streak may choose to wander through the city, discovering its unique charm. Arusha Villa Farm House - Comfort
Every room has now a large private bathroom, and two or four rooms can be interconnected. These rooms are very suited for families, groups and people that love the quietness in this area. The veranda offer a perfect place to enjoy the monkeys, the coffee plants and the tranquility of the area. In all rooms shampoo, soap and lotion are available. There is no Wifi at the farmhouse, guests can use the Wifi at the main building.

DAY 2

Arusha to Manyara National Park

Embark on an enchanting journey after a leisurely breakfast, as we take a panoramic drive to the captivating Lake Manyara National Park. Renowned for its tree-climbing lions and the iconic pink flamingos, this park is also home to the largest recorded troop of baboons. The park unfolds along the base of the 600-meter-high Great Rift Valley escarpment, creating a picturesque setting.

Lake Manyara, covering two-thirds of the park, adds to the park’s allure. Surprisingly, the remaining third features a diverse array of animals thriving in open savannah grasslands, rocky outcrops, marshes, and acacia woodlands. The wildlife in this park is exceptionally varied, making it a splendid introduction to your safari adventure.

Prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of Lake Manyara National Park, where the harmony of nature unfolds against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This diverse ecosystem promises an immersive and captivating experience as we commence our safari journey.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, set off on a thrilling morning of game viewing in the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a world-famous natural wonder. With an estimated 30,000 mammals, prepare to be awe-struck by the incredible abundance of wildlife coexisting within the crater’s confines. Ngorongoro Crater stands as one of the last East African sanctuaries where you can witness the magnificent BIG 5 in one park, including the elusive Black Rhino.

As the day unfolds, savor a delightful picnic lunch at a nearby hippo pool, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the crater. After immersing ourselves in the wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater, we’ll commence our journey to a nearby Maasai Boma for a captivating village tour. This cultural experience offers a unique insight into the traditional Maasai way of life.

As the sun sets, reflect on the day’s adventures and the richness of the Ngorongoro Crater, a testament to the incredible biodiversity that graces this extraordinary part of Tanzania. Retire for the day, anticipating the continuation of our safari journey.
