DAY 1

1 day safari to Lake Manyara or Tarangire National park

Welcome to Tanzania. You will be greeted early in the morning at your accommodation by your SafariHQ guide, who will provide you with a brief safety talk and a run down of the days itinerary. You will then enjoy a panoramic morning drive to either Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park for full day of game viewing. 

Tour ends back in Arusha.

Lake Manyara National Park
Manyara National Park is the smallest national park in Tanzania. Don’t lets it’s small size deter you from visiting this majestic park. A visit to Manyara National Park is a truly unique experience. Manyara offers 3 distinct habitats in which to safari. With its lush groundwater forest, open floodplains and acacia woodlands it offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience.

Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.
