DAY 1

   Mt Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania. Your SafariHQ drive guide will be waiting to meet you on arrival at the airport. After a short briefing  You will then drive to your accommodation for your first evening in Arusha.

DAY 2

Tarangire National Park

After a wholesome breakfast, your day will start with a short briefing and safety from your SafariHQ guide. Once the formalities are completed, you will head towards Tarangire National Park. This park is dominated by the perennial Tarangire River and is characteristically known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. In fact, it has the largest population of any park in northern Tanzania. These gentle giants abound in excess of 3,000. Also expect to see zebra, eland, mongoose, giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, dik dik, impala, warthog, reedbuck. Primates you may encounter are olive baboon, vervet monkey and bushbaby. Many carnivores are abundant throughout the park such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and jackal.

DAY 3 to Day 4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will head towards Serengeti National Park, stopping along the way at a Maasai village before heading to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon of game viewing.  The Serengeti is unequalled for its beauty and scientific value and has come to symbolise the classic African safari. Spend two magical nights and days exploring the Serengeti National Park.

DAY 5

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy an en-route game drive through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area until we reach the Ngorongoro Crater. We will stop for a short lunch break at Simba Campsite, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon of game viewing. we descend 600 metres into the spectacular  Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. A breathtaking natural wonder the crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Another big draw card to this picturesque conservation Area is the Ngorongoro Crater is one of the few places left in East Africa that you can see the BIG 5 all in one park. Ascend the crater in the late afternoon and head to your accommodation for the evening.

DAY 6 - Day 11

Zanzibar

After breakfast you will drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Fun Resort where you will spend the next  Spend the next 5 nights and days relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of the Spice Island of Zanzibar. Relax on the beach, take part in one of the many activities offered by the Resort, go diving at one of Zanzibar’s world renowned dive sights or head on a guided tour of Zanzibar to take in the unique culture of the island. Whether you want an active holiday or just to relax, Zanzibar has something for everybody.
